Labeling your product

One of the biggest challenges I`ve come a crossed so far is the labeling of my products. You want your product to look professional and stand out. I have spent ours on this computer trying to design, and have come up with fairly decent labels but not something I would call professional. My husband bought me a brother labeling machine (sample label at upper right) and it does do an excellent job, only they are in black and white. It has really nice software for enhancing your labels and also you can buy the clear continuous labels that look really nice against your clear pet bottles also the natural bottles. Then this morning while browsing the Internet I found this site that you can download some nice templates that might work for slot of you just getting started in soap or canlemaking. I hope I have been some help

Raspberry Lemonade Soap

Since I`m on a work furlough right now for another week anyways, I decided to try my hand at hot process soap for the second time. I have to admit the cold process is so much easier but it has to cure for at least 4 weeks. The first time, just last week, my soap seemed to set up quite fast, so now my challenge is to find the exact time to start the process of putting in the mold. Yesterdays Soap turned out much better, I made a small 1 lb batch so as not to waste in case it didn`t come out. If anyone out there can give me some hints to make it easier I would sure appreciate it. I love this hobby I have endured and want to make some lovely soaps. And lets face it, there are some beautiful soaps out there!!!!

What you can do with Soapmaking

Well, to start this off I have to say I am definately a newbie at blogging and also my soapmaking experience not to mention that I am up there in years and do still wonder (as the old saying goes) if you can teach old dogs new tricks….lol.. So if along the way you can possibly help me in learning all about these blogs, I`d sure appreciate the comments.

As far as my soapmaking experience goes, I just started it last year and like I say, it`s still new to me but I am deffinately hooked on it and hoping to find alot of soapmaking friends out there to interact with by exchanging ideas, successes, failures or anything that`s on one`s mind. Thank you and hope to meet alot of new Friends. http://www.strictlynature.com/bathbeauty.php
